Review of School Days

This is like an anime version of “13 reasons why” written by Sigmund Freud. Many people would say that School Days is unrealistic and illogical (both its story and characters), but truth be said... this is much more realistic than many other animes out there. Sadly enough, people (specially young adolescents in some social contexts) are cruel, hypocrites, irrational, driven by their libido and their emotional needs. School Days portrays this in a fantastic way. Don’t get me wrong, I did not enjoy this show, it was painful (and personally, it reminded me of some very ugly real-life stories from my school days in acity of Latin America -no joking-). Maybe thats why I only give it an 8. But, I must praise how this anime explores and shows the complexity of human relations and emotions.
