Review of School Days

The story is based on a game. The male lead Makoto is indecisive; sleeps with many girls and cheats on many of them who he is supposedly in a serious relationship with. Apparently, in the visual novel, he is actually more kind and caring. I only watched this show because there was so much drama and conflicts that were never resolved. in the anime, Makoto starts off a bit more genuine but he comes addicted to sleeping with his classmates. Spoilers*** Overall, I thought the characters were terrible as people. I didn't like anyone except Kokoro - Makoto initially liked Kotonoha but Sekai seduceshim and Makoto never properly breaks up Kotonoha which leads to so much chaos. The girls at school including Setsuna, Otome, Yuuki, Nanami bully and harass Kotonoha about Makoto. Those events all could have been avoided if Makoto had actually broken up with her properly. He keeps passively making plans with her that he never kept. In her mind, she still thought she was his girlfriend. Additionally, Otome sleeps with Makoto during the school festival and then he sleeps with Hikari and the other girls. Everyone has Makoto by episode 11 and they start murdering each other by episode 12.

Art and sound was decent.
Story was entertaining and dramatic.
