Review of School Days

I watched School Days thinking, everyone talks so badly about it so I want to see how bad it really is. It is not as bad as I anticipated and enjoyed is quite a bit. STORY: I really liked the story of School Days. It demonstrates how cheating on someone (especially numerous times) can hurt them and affect their mental health. CHARACTERS: I believe the characters is where this show falls flat the most. Makoto: I really hate Makoto's character. Has no regard for anyone's feelings, and he does what he wants no matter who he will hurt in the process. He is oblivious to the other girl's feelingstowards him and not in the normal harem kind of way.
*SPOILER (no names)* Makoto, although he was already dating someone, found interest in someone else who he claims to like more, it didn't even cross his mind to tell the other person that he wants to breakup. Seriously, who thinks that not showing up for a date is considered a break up?! His lack of common sense is ridiculous, and yet he still wonders why everyone thinks he's still dating this person *END OF SPOILER*

Basically all of the girls part of his harem: All of the girls are oblivious and clueless as to why Makoto doesn't like them or why something is going the wrong way, they have no common sense whatsoever and should have known that a relationship with the main character would not end well knowing his past actions. Although this is needed for the story, they could have at least questioned a little more what they are doing and if it would be good for themselves and others. The closest they get to this is one of the girls worried that she would hurt her friend by going out with him.

ART:
I'm not a big fan of the art style, the animation was mediocre at best.

SOUND:
voice acting sounded okay, but i'm not an expert on it. I wasn't a big fan of the music, easily forgettable and I always skipped it.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
This show isn't for everyone. I know some people won't be able to stand Makoto and his actions. But if you can endure how annoying some characters are, it is an interesting watch.
