Review of Hunter x Hunter

Hunter x Hunter is easily one of the most underrated animes I've ever seen. I had never heard much about it until only one friend recommended it to me, and it was the best recommendation I've ever received. It is my single favorite anime, and I've never seen anything like it. Story- 10/10 The overall story of Hunter x Hunter kept me captivated through all of the episodes. There was never a dull moment watching this anime. Not only that, but everything was coherent and easy to follow, unlike some animes that I watch. Art- 9/10 The art is pretty standard, but still has some moments where I'min awe looking at the detail in some scenes. The art style itself isn't anything special, however I think that the character designs and the animation are overall smooth and really visually pleasing.

Sound- 10/10
EVERY SOUNDTRACK IS A JAM. From the opening, to the background music, to the closings are BEAUTIFUL. Everything fits so well and it's all so catchy! I still listen to certain ones on repeat just because they give me a healthy dose of seratonin.

Character- 10/10
Every character is unique to any anime character I've ever seen. They all have their own drives and their own mindset that makes them not only enjoyable, but unique to every other character in the series. Even the villains break the stereotypes of your average anime villains. There's not a single character I dislike in this series.

Enjoyment- 10/10
Every episode had something captivating to keep you watching. I felt like I never wanted to stop watching once I started just because everything about this anime was so enjoyable. Even when there wasn't much action going on, it was still super enjoyable, which I find different from many other animes.

Overall- 10/10
Overall, Hunter x Hunter is one of a kind. There's not a single anime that I enjoyed watching as much as I did this. It's simple, unique, and has everything that makes an anime good. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys anime.
