Well, this is a weird one. I've never played any of the Rebirth games that this OVA was based on, so taken out of context, none of these scenes make much sense to me. The story is presented in a really haphazard manner. Each scene is broken up by a narrator accompanied by a screen full of text, making them all seem disconnected from each other. This also makes the story difficult to follow, and it seems more like a collection of animated cutscenes that could have probably been in the game. The audio is well done, but didn't blow me away, voice actors deliver their linesfine, and sound effects sound good enough. The soundtrack didn't stand out, though.

The animation is pretty nice to look at, which is a plus. However, that's not enough to make this anime any good.
