Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

I put this anime off for such a long time because I knew it would break my heart. And it did but I enjoyed Anohana so so so much. The story was so sweet and I fell in love with the atmosphere. It felt like being back in Japan. The way everything is illustrated, the artwork is amazingly beautiful. The soundtrack as well! All the 6 characters were so likable, absolutely all of them had something that I liked. Honestly I couldn't say that I hated someone in this anime and I think that is what it makes it so damn good. I adored Menma even though Ithought it was so unfair for the other 2 girls how she was immensely popular. I really wanted Jintan to look at Anaru and Yukiatsu to look at Tsurumi. I found Yukiatsu's obsession with Menma quite disturbing but even so I could feel for him.

Overall an amazing anime about love and friendship.
