Sword art Online, season 1 came off as a brilliant Virtual world genre anime. I didn't expect myself to be watching something so unreal and get touched by it so much. Whenever a story has unknown ending, audience wants to know what will happen in the end. First half of this season was like a Roller coaster. It was more like this "FIGHT OF LIFE AND DEATH." "1 mistake and you're done!" I didn't want to miss a single minute of this series. Not to mention, It's mainly because of the unpredictable plot and story. Watching this series, there came a moment when I wantedto dive in the virtual game world, where I could be a person different from the real world. Kirito liked being someone who he wanted to be in that world. But it turns out to be a huge punishment.

The biggest lesson I've learned from this anime "Don't waste a single moment in real world. It's precious"

The fear of not being able to see those who are your family, just because of a game diving experience, became such a relatable feeling to the audience that nobody can stop himself from Completing this series once he has started it.

The romance was brilliant and TO THE POINT. No exaggerated scenes, no dialogues, it seems Very reasonable to audience, that the characters fell in love, because the scenarios were STRAIGHT FORWARD to begin with. No dragging and delaying.

Some scenes were so emotional that audience can even cry. Emotionally anyone can relate to the feelings described in the series. So I'd give it 10/10 without giving a second thought.

Character: 10/10
Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito)
A character that is worth watching, more than a hundred characters (according to me)
He was the soul of this series. Very cheerful, very decisive, and hardworking to the extent that he gained the TITLE Black swordsman in the virtual world. Wanted by almost every girl he encountered, he gained popularity in that world because he was too manly to protect them, Not because of his power, but because of his emotional attachment with everyone.

Asuna (female protagonist)
Whom he chose amongst so many girls. She stayed with him and protected him, when he didn't expect anyone to be by his side. Being with her was so easy for him, that he decided to treasure her.

Even though there are tons of characters discussed, still they weren't unnecessary. We, as audience, enjoy every character because of his link to Kirito. its impossible not to get impressed by Kirito once the series is finished.

Art: 8/10
In the first season, I felt as if the art could be better. I didn't like so cute smiles of all the characters (so to say)
All of them seemed so "child like" because of their smiles. Still, the animation style, sword fighting in a virtual world, monsters death scenes, objects vanished after being expired in the virtual world, these animations surely need to be praised. The sparkles that appear after every object being vanished was worth seeing.. So I'd gladly say Art is 8/10

Soun: 10/10
Without any hesitation I can say that Music was brilliant.
Not only the opening and ending OST, but the background soundtrack was my favourite.
I kept listening the music, instead of watching the scenes so many times. Especially whenever Kirito used to fight the monsters along with everyone, their coordination, their ACTION AT THE RIGHT TIME, that was all enhanced only due to Music.
Sad scenes became even more saddening due to music.

Enjoyment: 10/10
Overall: 10/10
This series can even be re-watched again and again. It makes us hooked up and glued to the seat, unless it is finished.
STRONGLY recommend it.
