Detective Conan Movies Rewatch Before Watching Movie 26: Movie 3 My favorite DC movie from childhood, and still my favorite DC movie almost 20 years later. The name of the movie is quite fitting, as watching this movie felt like watching magic. The movie combined mystery with adventure masterfully and managed to balance the cast and the motives well by focusing on the egg as the main storyline. Some DC movies can get really messy with all the subplots, but not this one. The movie presented the case in a natural, logical manner with no inconsistencies nor any deus ex machina to fix plot holes. In addition,while some of the tricks and contraptions may be unrealistic, they are still very enjoyable to watch.

Adding in Katsuo Ohno's BGM, the movie produced some of the most thrilling scenes as well as unexpected emotional ones. The climax of the movie with the egg was quite touching for an action/mystery movie.

The greatest DC movie ever made. 10/10
