Review of Gintama

Gintama is THAT type of anime that may not attract many people during the first episodes and not everyone would like it.i personally dropped it a few times.but after i got more into it the more i enjoyed it.honestly,i don't remember the last time i laughed this much in my whole life.anyways,let's get to the point. Story. at first i thought its going to be JUST a comedy anime.but the more i got close to the end,the arcs became more serious.the whole series was a mix of something that made me feel all kinds of emotions,sadness,happiness and others. there were some episodes that had no connection with theseries.but to me it didn't really matter.gintama's episodes are kind of..seperated.but the arcs are probably more than 2 or 3 episodes.so again,i didn't mind it at all.

Characters.

this is indeed controversial but i kinda liked how the protags were unique.
I've seen many animes but gintoki,kagura and shinpachi were a very unique trio to me.the personality of each character differed to a certain extent and thats a good thing.

the other characters also had a fair amount of screen time and most of the characters seemed to have seperate arcs.
i thought some characters would just come out for an arc then vanish for good but Gintama was different.other than 2-3 characters most of the others weren't forgotten at all.

Conclusion.

It was a long run,but i have no regrets.i recommend it.but i said before,not everyone would like it because of the humor or the amount of times the characters keep joking around.thats it.
