Review of I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying
Even though there are a lot of other reviews already, after watching this show and really enjoying it, I felt a little obliged to write if only but a few lines about it. This is quite a funny series of short episodes based on an idea of an otaku actually marring someone and having his own kind of a family life. It turned out to be really funny with it's simple and straightforward humor and parodies, yet the show has an actual plot line with a logical and solid conclusion. The artwork is really cute and nice looking, having it's own style. Though, being a short,it's not surprising to see most backgrounds reused and often blurred, although the are a few quite detailed ones. The other aspects are just decent, witch is acceptable for such type of a show.
The VA is satisfying, as for the music, aside from the ED, there isn't much of it. Sound effects are okay too.
Speaking of characters, they are fine too, though just a cardboards, aside from two main characters, that get some development and backdrop. Then again, it's mostly a simple comedy, so it'd be rude to ask for much.
In the end, this is a comedy slice of life show, and I did enjoy it and laughed during almost every episode. It was over before I knew it.
