Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

The only good thing about this show is Yukana Yame, but even she has more weak moments than strong moments. The characters are entirely trash, they lack depth and growth and they're all pretty much superficial. The inner monologue of the main protagonist is trying WAY too hard to be funny but only really serves to interrupt the proceedings of the story. The show is basically showing mixed signals, trying to play into misconceptions and trying to deny them at the same time. Gals are trashy and slutty but they're also really not...? They almost went into the right direction in episode 9 (which is.... pretty much the endalready) but for some reason decided that they needed to refrain from making a character be self aware and show possibility for growth.

Still... for some reason I wanted to finish it, so they must have done something right.
