This anime is truly beautiful. The story is rich and efficiently narrated, and it goes without saying that one has to watch the entire series several times to perceive all the details. In this respect, this anime holds a really particular place in my list because I think that it is more than an anime: it is a philosophical work. Indeed, I think that Kino no Tabi is also an invitation for us to travel virtually and think about our world and our role in society from the point of view of an outsider who has no history with it, just likeKino.

That being said, I have to admit that developing the characters' backgrounds a little further would have been appreciable.

All in all, if one seeks a peaceful and deep anime, Kino no Tabi is a good choice.
