Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I don't normally ever review things but after watching this show today i just felt like it was so bad i needed to say something. The art is the only thing that is sorta good in the show but its not amazing. At its best it looks like aeon flux fan art, and at its worse it looks rick and morty fan art. The characters were all pretty much pointless and idiotic. Everyone was completely clueless to every aspect of the story until it was right in their face, and then would end up reacting with really disproportionate emotional break downs when they are finally clued intosomething. The MC especially seems to have no ability for long term memory, and would go in the same circle shocked and upset at how awful his best friend is over and over.

The overall plot was one of the most pointless and meaningless things I've ever bothered to finish. Nothing builds on anything this series is actually the exact opposite of a developed plot where every episode(or sometimes while still in the same episodes) everyone just dies or things escalate more and nothing in the previous episodes matters anymore.

I'm not really sure what the appeal of a show like this could be. Maybe people are just looking for some kind of depravity pron or something? I highly recommend not watching this show. Like literally anything else you could do with your time would be better then watching this.

Easily the worst anime of 2018 and probably in the top 5 worst of all time. Outstanding job netflix.
