Review of Recovery of an MMO Junkie

At last, a show that's worthy of the title Gaming Anime has come. If you watched enough of those self-proclaimed gaming titles as I did then you'll know what I mean. However, here in Net-juu no Susume we have actual gaming scenes that fit in the atmosphere of the anime giving it an excellent vibe to both my gamer and anime watcher personalities. >Spoiler free< Story: The story revolves around Morioka-san, an adult female who quit her job and decided to take the life of a NEET *add respect*. However, a big number of unexpected coincidences occur that connect her real life to her online life andwe see what this turns out to be like. You have all your favorite side-dishes here: Hot boys, awkward romance moments, teasing and much more. And the main dish is.. GAMING SCENES. Yep, actual gaming scenes that give you a nostalgic feeling of your gaming moments. They have the same vibe you get while playing so you'd feel a strong connection with those scenes, probably.

Art: Not this anime's best suit. It doesn't look anything special, but if you ask me, that's to be expected and might even be better this way. I mean, that's how we'd expect a NEET to be right? She'd not feel like a NEET if she looked fabulous. The show itself doesn't contain that much of scenery as well, but they seem to have nailed it whenever scenery shows up.

Character development: Not going to add a lot of detail here since this is the main focus of the anime and writing here would basically spoil the entire thing. However, I'm willing to answer one question. Did the characters develop well?
Yes *add Saitama poker face*.

Overall experience: Good show, Good plot, Good Game. Would I add something else to the anime? Yes, actually I believe their should be a little bit more romance in the atmosphere. This show is one definitely enjoyable by gamers and anime-watchers alike giving a good vibe to both.
