Review of A Place Further Than The Universe

Ok, I have to start off by saying this is one of the best series I've watched in a hot minute. It's a wholesome show about friendship, accomplishing your goals, and making the most out of your youth. Casting aside inhibitions and going for the gold, no matter what. I really admired the characters in this show and found them delightful. If anything I feel like I learned a lot from this show about friendship and how to let go and live a little bit. People get so weighed down by being embarrassed or fears or little things like that. So much so that itgets in the way of accomplishing their dreams. A Place Further Than The Universe is exemplary in that we shouldn't feel that way.

The art and music and story are just all so good. It's a heartwarming concept with a lot of well animated scenes. The parts that are funny made me laugh harder than I have in a long time. The parts that are heartfelt and tear-jerking made me cry to the extent Anohana did. The parts where you're meant to get angry made me want to fight someone. The parts where the characters felt victorious and triumphant made me feel like I was right alongside them, accomplishing our goals.

It's such a heartfelt, loving show and you can clearly tell so much work and love went into it.
