Review of The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments

this is my first review lol i just felt like saying something about this season of nantsu no taizai but i'm not gonna be as proper or as descriptive as the rest of the reviews lol. i really enjoyed the first season of this show, it was the second anime i had ever watched so naturally i became super attached and fell in love with everything about the show/manga. i've seen that a lot of people who usually review animes have watched hundreds of them, and are super descriptive and critical of any shows. they obviously have more 'experience and knowledge' when it comes to animeor whatever so im an amateur i guess lolol.

nanatsu no taizai: imashime no fukkatsu was probably the last season of anime i watched before i stopped watching anime completely (like more than a year ago). i kinda think that might've played a role in why i was so uninterested halfway through this season.

at the beginning of the season, when i had to wait for each episode to be released every few weeks, i was still in love with it. after probably a little after halfway i got so bored and lost motivation to watch the series. and i know it wasn't just my interest in anime decreasing in general. the fact that i could tell there was so little effort in the episodes of this seasons didnt help lol.

i honestly hated the art in this season like it made me so mad. the first season and signs of holy war were well drawn/animated in my opinion. i have almost 0 complaints about the art and effort in the first season. it made me really disappointed to see how terrible the art was in these episodes :(. i felt bad i couldn't appreciate this season as much as the first. i had read a few chapters of the manga that were in the second season, i didn't have a problem with the story at all. i really like the manga drawings and art style a lot! it's just frustrating how this season seemed soo rushed and had the least amount of effort put into it.

for the last episodes, i can't even remember them. i don't even think i finished the last two episodes fully. if i did, i wasn't paying attention. i got annoyed with the show and just stopped trying to force myself to be interested in it. it's sad but, this season didn't do the manga justice :/.

overall i'll give it a 7 because i still adore and love this anime. the main problem was probably the art/animation. everything seemed very rushed and doesn't compare at all to the first season or signs of holy war. i still love the characters, the romance, honestly everything! the actual show is what bothers me. i don't have any complaints for the manga hehe. that's it lolol i know probably no ones gonna read this but its kinda therapeutic and i thought this would be fun to think/write about ha. there are probably a lot of typos but i'm literally in class so im not gonna reread this LOL ok.
