One of my favourite subgenres of isekai is protagonists who become intelligent rulers of nations, dealing with both internal problems and external influences. So What's Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin? is an absolute masterful execution of this idea. Each growth in both power and rulership feels natural, according to the rules of the world and the characters personality traits. Each new part of the nation, or new scheme not only feels realistic, but feels like the exact thing these people would do, and that's a very hard line to tread. This is one of those manga that's so well written you cannot put it down,as evidence by the fact I blew through all 9 volumes in one sitting! It really sucks you in, encouraging you to keep reading to find out what's going on, without it feeling like it's just grabbed your hand and forcing you to stay with it.
Absolutely amazing writing, cannot wait to see where this series goes from here, as I fully believe this will become one of the best stories in manga if the author can keep this quality level up.
