So, this series started as completely appalling: a bunch of teenagers with absurd, godlike powers are transported to a world of magic, dumb fanservice and overly-convenient plot points. Everything and everyone is an incarnation of some tired isekai trope, but still probably how OP and kitsch the main characters are is the greatest sin – it's like each of them was another version of Deathmarch protagonist, just without any logical explanation for their world-breaking abilities outside of them being "prodigies". It goes to the levels of a swordswoman running faster than a missile, a dcotor treating someone mauled to death by a beast to healthin 15 minutes and the engineer producing an WMD out of her ass – all just being "skills" of a normal human, apparently.

But then, beyond that idiotic premise and introduction, I've started enjoying it... Mostly because it features a fairly cool storyline of a confrontation between the seven prodigies and the insane regime governing the world they were isekai'd into. It's absolutely insane, but I kind of liked the means they use to fight it, with manipulative politics and modern technology to counter the Empire's magic and its reliance on fear. Also, the prodigies start to show flaws at this point, for example the doctor getting some really creepy and interesting scenes. It's still quite dumb and inconsistent, but in an amusing way. It's exactly the trashy charm that makes those cheaper isekais fun to watch and it's a bit of a shame that the opening of the show was so poor. It's also decently-produced, unlike some of the last season's isekais, making it a reasonable timewaster – not a good series by any definition, but an enjoyable-enough one if you know what you're getting into.
