Review of Deca-Dence

Im a big fan of anime originals because their stories are usually kinda well planned and have a good start, but they usually fall off at the end. Deca-dence is an exception to this as it always remains consistent and every episode knows where it wants to go. Story: 9 When you watch the first episode, it feels like a bit of a futuristic attack on titan ripoff, but at the beginning of the second episode there is a massive twist that really makes this show stand out to me. The storyline is always intriguing, with bits of comedy added in too. Art: 10 The art was spot on,with no mistakes. I'm really excited to see nut studio's upcoming shows.

Decent to good soundtrack, it matches the mood well.

Deca-dence was one of the rare instances where I really loved the main character and the side characters were likeable too. The show also makes you completely hate the antagonist.

This was one of the most entertaining shows this year and its really unfortunate that it didn't gain any significant popularity. There's a chance for season 2, which I want and don't want at the same time.
