Review of A Whisker Away
I'm not usually one to review anime and I just want to write my feelings out. I love this anime mostly because of Yorushika. Really for me, anything will work out if there's good music in it but this really exceeded my expectations. From Hana ni Bourei and the comments I already know the plot but still it blew me away. The art and animations were really smooth and the story was really relate-able. This movie reminded me of things I really have forgotten. That our days are numbered. That the things we do can't be undone and that we must work hard to get the resultwe want. Make friends along the way. Life is irreversible and you mean something to someone. Everyone has a problem behind them and that you can't tell if they don't talk to you, basically the old saying of don't judge a book by its cover but really that saying has a deeper meaning to it now, to me at least. I don't want to ever forget about this feeling of awe and happiness within me. Yorushika has led me far enough because of her music (also saying this for n-buna of course) but really this movie told me that music can be really beautiful too if it went into a movie or a film. The use of sound effects were really good too, with the soundtracks.
Thank you. Yorushika and Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu. I really have more hope in this world than ever before.
