Review of Whisper of the Heart

Every aspect of this film was outstanding, from character to plot to artwork. Hayao Miyazaki is without a doubt a genius, but he outdid himself with film. Shizuku Tsukishima, the female protagonist, went through her journey of self-realization through her hard work and dedication to find her where her true passion lies and also find her talent. Along the journey, not only did she learn more about herself as a person but she found inspiration, love and motivation from those around her. While I do have sentimental attachments with the film, I rewatched it to understand the plot and characters better and every time Ifall deeper in love with the film. Truly a masterpiece.
