Anima Yell! · review
This was a surprisingly good anime about a group of girls who overcome obstacles to form a cheer club at their new high school. That over half of the team has no experience with cheer leading at all, does not stop them. It is not easy going, and they have to preserver, and yet still have fun. this is the central theme of the show, stick to your goals, don't give up, and fight, fight fight win. Way so much fun, it is awesome. The one thing that is really cool, is the way they interpret cheer, it is not, like in the USA wherethe cheerleaders are elitist snobs only interested in the ball teams. These girls, cheer the Manga Research Club, the perform at various town festivals, and even cheer (up) a student who is having problems studying. When they enter a competition, they realize, it is the only time they are cheering for themselves, and their friends and family, as well as the various people they cheered along the way, turn out to cheer them for a change. Really a heartwarming, and very clean, show.
