Otome Youkai Zakuro is a fairly good manga overall, and the mangaka has a unique storyline and drawing style in my opinion. Story: 8. The story is enjoyable, but it gets kind of ridiculous sometimes. The characters get into all this trouble because of what they are--nonetheless, I haven't really read anything too similar to it. Art: 9. The art is really clean and beautiful, especially the eyes. Bonbori and Hozuki are so cute with their "knotroot hair". The traditional clothing mixed with soldier outfits are also well done. Character: 7. I honestly really dislike Zakuro's personality. Zakuro is borderline tsundere, but she overreacts quite a bit. Shealso dislikes to listen to anything anyone tells her.

Enjoyment: 8. While I have my doubts about this manga, it's also really cute with the romance parts. This pleases my shoujo romance thirst with the interactions between the main characters.

Overall: 9. The manga is generally a good read. I'd definitely suggest it to anyone that likes fantasy.
