Super Real Mahjong, what a title that is, just how super and real is this mahjong going to be? Well, imagine my surprise when I finish the thirty minute anime and there's no mahjong to be seen! Not a single tile! I thought I was going to get to see cute girls screaming "pon" and "ron" at one another, getting immersed into their intense games like I know what's actually going on, but instead we get a shoujo like pilot episode where the girls introduce themselves and talk about their interests in love and all that jazz, getting all ditzy over potential boyfriends, etc. Isuppose the rest of the title does give it away a little bit, the "Kasumi Miki Shouko no Hajimemashite" part, would imply that these girls might spend some of the runtime just introducing themselves (these Mofos actually introduced themselves twice, the absolute cheek, on two separate occasions these fucking girls introduced themselves again like we didn't already go over this shit 5-10 minutes ago XD) and going about their daily life, but come on, at least make it look like they and the staff give a shit about the game lol.

For what it's worth, I've heard that the sequel actually has mahjong content, so at least that's something. Shinichi Watanabe directed this and if the listing is correct on MAL, this was his first anime he directed, which is a decent little tidbit. Overall, it's a forgettable game advertisement of something that you'll probably never play, and if you just want to watch something shoujo-esque, there's far better options out there.
