Just finished wiping my face of the tears from that last half an hour. Compared to the show before it, the movie is a completely different experience. Even though it's a prequel, and Shiro and Sora dont appear until the end, it has an extremely good reason for this. If that wasn't what you wanted, I still highly recommend watching it as it ties very well with Stephanie, Shiro and Sora's backstories. Although you may hate Jibril for a bit after watching this. I would love to describe why I love this movie so much, but I ... I just can't. It would ruin the movieto explain why.
The development of the two new main characters is done very nicely throughout the story with a few tie-ins to the character in the show. The story contributes to the original show in a way that is instantly noticeable from the start but, unfortunately, feels a little forced at first glance. The movie does help fill the hole from the lack of a season 2 and will conform the spot for No Game No Life in my favourites animes.
First review, so go easy on me :)
