Virtual Star 2000 · review
Really darn cool of the display of what 3D animation could do around this time. I might be biased because I really love old animation like this but some of these were downright cinematic and has something that I feel a lot of animation today lacks. Every character portrayed has this robotic uncanny charm that makes them pleasant to the eyes and interesting to look at from an aesthetic perspective. Some of these take on an ethereal touch as well with the internet optimism that was around during 2000 evidently showing. In hindsight, what it makes me feel now is an anxiety rather than anoptimism. If you're into early internet stuff it is definitely worth the watch as it's only 35 minutes in total.
