This special was actually focused on the romance in which the main show lacked in season 1. If would be much better if every episode in season 1 was like this rather than attempting to cover the main plot. I recommend watching this since this is what I think, the representative episode of what I chose to watch the anime for. The story doesn’t deviate much from what is expected, but provides a nice backstage for the events to happen. The characters gets a proportionate amount of attention and screen time based on how much enjoyment the bring to the episode.
