Usually you wouldn't be expecting much from these specials episodes. Usually you'd watch it if you're craving more of the original series--and that's the state that I'm in. I loved the original series and apparently there's no English translation of the original novel yet so I've decided to watch the specials. It was surprisingly good. The show managed to create a new story line and the comedy is good as always. You'll get the same queer atmosphere as the original TV series which made the show great as it is. Noticeably, the specials take a more of a darker turn as apparent on how eachepisode ends.
