Gate in a Nutshell: Overhyped military anime with anime tropes thrown in. Starts off epic and interesting but later devolves into some rather uninteresting story points. Some of the focus isn't where it needed to be. Kind of lost itself to the anime tropes later on, focusing less on the military side. Has art that gets the job done, a couple memorable moments, characters that are kind of forgettable, and a "meh" soundtrack. Should you Watch? Depends. If you like anime, go for it. If you want something epic, don't. If you want something to watch when you're bored this is perfect.
