Review of Convenience Store Boy Friends

What I appreciated about this anime is that it wastes not time with silly slapstick comedy that many anime use to fill up runtime (you know the whole "woops I accidentally fell on your boobs" type of humor), it was a very down to earth anime, about 2 fairly normal boys, being in love with 2 fairly normal girls. The whole anime is about the friendship between the main characters, and how/if they are going to confess... the reason why its hard to recommend is because how unsatisfying the ending is, the drama ramps up in the last few episodes and then we get oneof those "our story has just begun" type of endings.. just leaves you feeling kinda empty after all the time you invested on these characters.

What is worse is that halfway through the anime, we get an unrelated side story that goes absolutely nowhere... let just say it involves siblings. I dont understand why? Should had used that runtime instead to make a better ending, or better yet, this anime needed at least one more episode to fully wrap up.

So I would only recommend this if your in the mood to watch a down to earth romance anime, and you absolutely have nothing else to watch in that genre, cause there is many other animes that are the same, but do it better.
