I'll start off with saying season one is worse than season two. -The overall plot (the motivating factor driving the MC) is extremely lackluster in comparison to stories like BTTH and TDG -All the bad guys are shallow with copied and pasted characteristics -The characters in general lack personality and are pretty shallow -The cultivation rate of the MC is ridiculously fast paced and is 100% luck based with no skill -Harem-y like other of its genre but not as strong. Love it or hate it I guess. If you're looking for something great, I'd say pass but if you enjoy watching generic Xianxia/ Wuxia donghua for the genreitself then power through season one and get to season two where you will see improvements from what I said above.
