Inazuma Eleven: Baku Gaidenshuu · review
Inazuma Eleven: Baku Gaidenshuu is a two-volume spin-off manga that you should check out as long as you have watched the anime or played all the original games. What I liked: -The first volume. It's composed of short stories that show how Raimon / Inazuma Japan members develop and train special moves, such as Axel's/Goenji's Fireball Storm. -You get to see special moves that were never used in the anime, which is something we game fanatics appreciate a lot. What I didn't like: -The whole second volume. Instead of doing what the first volume does well (as explained before), in this one the author makes a complete invent of theFFI arc in a very disapointing way. It doesn't even add anything new to the series. It feels as if a 12-year-old kid had made his own fanfic.
-The artstyle is mediocre at best. Just like Tenya Yabuno's, I feel like his art doesn't really work with the Inazuma Eleven franchise.
Conclusion:
Read this only if you are really, really tired of waiting for Victory Road and are starving for Inazuma Eleven content.
