Ex-Yakuza and Stray Kitten · review
It is a precious little slice-of-life gem about (ex-)yakuza Jin and his "fluffy café" - out of a cats perspective. After getting rescued, the small kitten Sabu has to get used to its new home and more importantly the intimidating facial expressions of its owner - while starting to work with a bunch of quirky cats and dogs at that animal cafe. Overcoming fear, getting to know new things and meeting new pets and people, the purring protagonist widens his world on a daily adventure. The art is nice and simple, the yakuza-caretaker really cool and the pets lovable - every single one with its ownpersonality and preference for cohabitation (like the "claw-clipping-club"). It is funny, hearwarming and even suitable for non-cat-lovers (like me – I AM a dog-type). ;-)
Pure fluff and definitly worth your time!
