From what I could tell, the original source material was adapted to a manga, but it was short and incomplete, adapting only two cases, first one being the same as the anime, the boat mystery and the other one taking place in a hotel, which might be the next episode. The manga wasn't that bad, it did have the mystery permeating the atmosphere, but somehow, the anime lost it quite early. First episode was ok, cliffhanger was dog shit, second episode was mid, but somewhat ok-ish, but the last one damn terrible, there was NOTHING on it to make the series move, it's like, the MCalways gets killed accidentally just because he has the power to revive, ending up being used more in a comedic relief of sorts than actually useful on the cases. Also seems to be going to a harem thing? with villains and heroines maybe? dunno, don't like it.

I did read the really short manga out there, the second case was actually decent, I'll try and keep up, but man oh man, might be *one* of the many disappointments for this season.

So, as of now, can't really recommend it
