Chinese shows are a new thing for me. Recently I've found a few that made me think there are undiscovered gems to be found there. And while I found few worth watching they all feel similar in a way. Demon's Ascension is a show I thought would end up being great, if nothing else a guilty pleasure but as episodes moved on quality kept dropping and writing went on vacation. The more and more episodes go on the worse quality becomes. It's not enough that episodes are 10 minutes long (when you take out intro, outro and similar), but they started chopping fight scenes as well.Steal few frames here and few there. End results looks like a powerpoint slide presented by someone who had too much caffeine. The amount of moaning also keeps increasing over the time.

Original, setup story, has nothing to do with the plot. Occasionally someone will use it as an excuse to start a fight, but that's about it. In fact very few things play into anything other than his BS martial arts that are all like pew pew star wards battle.

Am torn on this one. I would love to get a deeper insight into this world but authors won't let us. Might entertaining for some. Am still kind of watching it but I have lost the interest and with few episodes to go I lost the hope they will do something good with it as well.
