Another one I went into expecting isekai slop but man this is not that at all. This is basically a medieval European nation building story, with a lord pulled into conflict and war using the skills and people at their disposal to get better. And holy shit whoever is writing this is doing an amazing job. The characters are actually believable with flaws and everything. The political and tactical manoeuvres are well thought out and even though you know he has to end up winning there's so much stakes and tension It does fall into a bit of "everyone working for the MC is a good person"kinda thing, you'd expect there to be at least one or two dickheads, but I legit love all of them. And I actually remember their names which is honestly a rarity for me when reading these things

The reincarnation plotline is a bit odd though. It doesn't do much aside from explain why someone so young has the insights he does (and he ages through the series so he's not the 3 year old on the MAL picture for more than I think a volume), but so far not much has really happened with it beyond some scattered mentions

Seriously, give this one a go, it won't disappoint!
