What the hell is with the rushed ending. I feel like a tragic end is also benefitting of the situation the protagonist finds himself in, but the ending just feels rushed beyond repair. I feel like the story just ended abruptly, and quite frankly it still had quite some potential. The 31.5th chapter did provide insight as the author claimed that the ending feels rushed as a consequence of his incompetence, but it's honestly excruciatingly sad that the story ended on such a low note. There were a couple themes that did foreshadow this route, but the ending just feels unauthentic,and lazy. Egregious ending. Could'vebeen miles better had the author not settled for mediocrity. Would've been a solid 9 due to its uniqueness and how raw it is, but the ending alone bumped it to a high 7- low 8. I quite liked the main themes behind the story so I'll be generous and give it an 8 though.
