Fake It to Break It! I Faked Amnesia to Break off My Engagement and Now He's All Lovey-Dovey?! · review
I stumbled upon this manga by accident and the ridiculously long title is the thing that caught my attention first – the pretty cover art came second and is also what convinced me to buy it. At first, I was sceptical how good it could be as the plot sounds rather generic ("male lead hates the mc but we all know he doesn't"-kinda thing) but I was pleasantly surprised how much it hooked me. It's nothing groundbreaking but a very sweet, light read. The mc is cute and likeable, same for her love interest. The side characters are stereotypical (childhood best friend, rival, mean girl, etc.)but it suits this type of story and is to be expected. However, so far, there's no unnecassary love triangle, if that's a thing that puts you off!
So, if you enjoy two dorks in love with a male love interest that's blushing when the mc smiles at him, I recommend this manga! The art is also very pleasant and the characters are pretty.
It's not finished yet but I really hope it maintains its good quality :)
