Its really a beautiful story, although it is not focused on a single character. Each chapter is a story about how a couple came together, of course through the idea of the love letter. I couldn't do it much justice describing it aside from recommend reading a couple chapters online. It is avaible in english, but only as the two volume set, because Del Ray cut out two storys from volume 3 I think so they decided to fuse them. They, as you could probly sympathize it was because of some 'nudity' in those chapters. Thats why the second volume in english will be abit thicker then the first.
