Review of Tokyo Revengers
It's a NAY. Main character is passive and a crybaby, unexplained romantic relationship, why does that girl even like that scumbag of main characters? There is no tangible reason to this, they have nothing in common and nothing developped to those feelings... The animation is laughable at some moments. I love time travel stories, even when they aren't explained in a logical way. So it's not the concept that I reject, but the execution is awful. The main concept for Tokyo Revengers is intriguing enough to take a look at. But there, no, we are in the classic operating shonen, handsome looking main characters stronger than the tall, muscular secondary characters who actually look like thugs. Just from the character designs, you can figure who is going to do what, when you know a little bit about anime.
The story drags on and we quickly realize that the author / publisher / producers have decided to milk the initial concept to the core without worrying about the consistency of the decisions that the characters make. .
In short, really disappointed by this anime surrounded by so much hype. Boring at will.
Nay nay nay nay!!!
