Review of Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo revengers is about how a coward and dumb failure got given a second chance in life by going back in time. He struggles with his life as his aspirations and dreams were completely shut off because of a certain event that occurred in his lifetime, because of this, he ran away and became a failure, *basing on his own standards*. He then was given a second chance to redeem himself and save the people he loved and he did. He was true to himself which caused others to respect him the way they did. All this comes to a bitter end though as allof his efforts were, of course, successful; he was not, in the end though. *for this season atleast*
That is a NO-spoiler summary right there, I believe.
In terms of the STORY and story telling, I believe it deserves a 9 for it did a really great job pulling me from the real world, getting all immersed in the world of Tokyo Revengers sacrificing my own sleep.
The ART however didn't look as good as some that I have seen making me give it a 7. Although, because of the flaws of the animation, some scenes that were purposely made funny actually became funny with all the dumb faces made and what not.
The sound sounded perfect, no pun intended.
Character was all around good, but pretty much a 7 for me. I would have liked it if our main protagonist was smarter, we would then have less trouble doing what he is supposed ro do. Like for example, telling those at the top that a certain someone is a traitor, maybe that would help. The story would end faster though(a joke, by yours truly).
As I've said, I was so immersed in the series that I sacrificed my sleep despite deciding not to do this again so many years ago. Making me give it a strong 9, maybe a ten even.
Overall, I really enjoyed the series. I gave it an 8 as it would be the perfect center for my ratings. Hopefully this would come in handy for anyone who out there.
