Review of Attack on Titan: Final Season - The Final Chapters

Wait, is this real? Wait wait wait wait wait. Am I actually watched an end of Attack on 3D Titan right now? This is not a dream, it's actually adaptation by studio MOPPA(AKA the studio that steals good series from studio that ACTUALLY KNOW what adaptation is. A studio that gives their animators life time burnout and goal to become as big as Kyoto Animation in a short time but at the same time releasing a quality product and blah blah blah good luck with that.) and not a adaptation by some series fans youtube animators and fan writers that only wrote fanfics of twilightand harry potta. Nah nah nah is that real? Am I really watched it 10 minutes ago? HAHAHAHAHA.

Daym it's bad. This shounen writers love to just forget what logic is what good writing is what character development is what is conflict between interesting characters that have different idiologies is. That they have to pave the way for all characters to the final point of their story but we have Reiner that looove to smell Historia's letters.

*SPOILERS*
We have Annie and she gets nothing for her sins, everyone just forgave her, Reiner is forgiven too. Eren that did a little bit of genocide, wiped out 80% of human population created an ecological catastrophe because he is dumb and can't find another future he tried a lot of times btw. Well, I'll give him that he did what his character was made to do - save his loved ones and destroy enemies behind the wall. Isayama just decided to reset Eren's settings to his 10 year old self. Daym it's good, some new character reverse development.
If the explanation for Eren's actions was that that was THE ONLY future where his loved ones are happily lived their entire lifes it would leave less questions about Eren's actions. But if future paths are endless that means that there is a future somewhere where it could be done without genocide.

Mikasa isn't a character - she is an plot-armor-tool-for-the-story Ackerman undefeated soldier archetype. No interesting conflict, no development. And she is this importand character that Ymir waited for the whole time. Truly great choice.

Animation
I hate MOPPA's style. It's low frame, 3D titans weird decisions in 4th season when Zeke and little guy that looked like Hanji mooved like puppets, they added a lot of filters on top of the picture, contrast, chromatic aberration, made flares glow like in the Witcher 3 trailer at E3 and showed us beautiful slide show. No creative ideas and talanted animators like in Wit studio that truly showed us something out of this world when they animate ODM action scenes. They knew how to use music, they knew how to show us memorable scenes an THEY KNEW THAT ISAYAMA's ART IS BAD, so they changed it.

And oh boy this last shounen style big fight with j-pop playing in the background. MOPPA really nailed it! This studio was born to adapt this trully genius ending. I'm glad than Wit studio never touched it. It could've been better to leave just sad piano or nothing in the background and show us interesting dialogue between interesting character. But this feels like I'm watching the last episodes of My Hero Academia.

Wait, am I actually watched It? Is this really adaptation really exist? Wait wait wait, some people liked it? It had 8.94 score on MAL? DAYM WHAT A GREAT SERIES. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA.
