I see many people complaining about the special and how it didn't wrap anything up but I think that was the goal. WEP was hugely successful so it would only make sense they would want you to want 2nd season, and the special did that. After the ending my interest in getting another season suddenly came back. The ending accomplished what it wanted and was never meant to be a final conclusion. I personally loved the 1st season and this special made me want a 2nd season and made me remember why I loved WEP, because of how over the top, dark, and complex itis.
