Review of Days with My Stepsister
The most notable thing from this one is the vibes. The art style and sound choices reminded me of Kuzu no Honkai. The story is the complete opposite of it, but they both did this amazing thing you don't see often in anime. Normallly anime rely on music to get across the emotions, but in this one they didn't. They had a lot of scenes in complete silence. To do that you need everything else to be even better to not make it bad, and they definitely managed to do that Also it makes the story feel very real. They don't have stupid high school stuffand the conversations they have do have a small element of awkwardness to it between the pauses. Or well awkwardness doesn't really describe it, more like it feels as if the lines aren't read from a paper sheet and thought about, like a real conversation
