Review of Redo of Healer
--this review may contain spoilers from episode 1 only-- Anime that has rape scenes are not for everyone. Redo of healer is usually named as absolute trash, but I seriously loved it. Of course, it's not for everyone, but it's my cup of tea. --Story-- The story follows our main character of the story (Keyaru) who was chosen as the hero of healing/recovery at the age of 14. When he healed Kureha's arm, he was suddenly brought with pain due to the memories. Flare decides to abuse him and use him as a slave. Keyaru had been abused from all types of things. He had to drink drugs,he was fucked by an old, gay paedophile. He had experienced all types of sexual harassment and slavery. However, on this one day, Keyaru was finally able to redo what had happened to him. He could prevent all of that torture. He took that chance and was finally able to redo everything. He was ready for revenge.
The one thing that I loved about the story of Redo of healer is that the story is that it doesn't get dull each episode. In fact, it was getting much more better every episode. Despite the fact that the story felt so simple, it was executed perfectly. There was not a single thing that I found boring in the story. 9/10 for story (more specifically, 9.4/10).
--Art--
I will be honest that the art is not as unique. However, I can say that the art was very consistent and it never dropped. It was very bright and it kept that way. 9/10 for art (more specifically, 8.7/10 for art).
--Sound and OSTs--
The sound worked magnificently. It was perfect for the fights, and pretty much everything. It may've been simple but they timed the sound effects accurately.
The OSTs were just absolutely wonderful and beautiful. It may've been very simple (especially in the ed song) but I seriously loved the singing and the art. It's so heart-warming and beautiful. The intro song was pretty good too, I loved it but the ending song was an absolute banger. 8/10 for sound and 10/10 for OSTs.
--Character--
The one thing that I love about the characters in redo of healer is that it's not the same as your typical revenge anime. When characters are about to kill the one they hated for killing their friend or doing something that angered the MC, he hesitates and is told that he'll be the same thing as them. This is the one thing I hate most about revenge in anime. However, Keyaru doesn't give a fuck. He doesn't give a fuck about what he becomes when he gets his revenge. He is only seeking satisfaction out of those crying faces. Now that is what I fucking love. He doesn't hesitate. What's better is that Keyaru doesn't actually want to kill people randomly. He wants to get revenge from the people who made him suffer despite the fact that he had a very noble goal. He doesn't kill people unless they did something wrong to him or someone he loves. This is the type of MC I wanted. The one who doesn't give a shit about what he's about to do. The one who doesn't hesitate. Even if he finds a new buddy and that buddy dies, he will still beat the shit out of those who did that to his buddy. 10/10 for character.
--Enjoyment--
There was not a single moment that I found redo of healer boring. It was so amazing, I was hyped to watch the next episode. If I had to try to find a scene where I didn't like redo of healer, that would take years to find one and I wouldn't be able to find a single bad moment. Every single moment was top notch to me. 10/10 for enjoyment
--Conclusion--
This was an absolutely beautiful and top notch anime in general. Most of the things that I found in redo of healer were perfect if not all of the things. This was the anime I was looking for. No shitty MC. Great story. Consistent animation. A perfect 10/10 for Redo of Healer.
