Review of given

I only started watching anime last year, but I hadn't rated a single anime that I had ever seen because I thought I couldn't judge what's good and what's bad. And then I started watching Given because I'm a fan of bl and I thought why not. I've always wondered what these people meant when they said you will know/feel it if an anime is a 10/10 for you, I couldn't understand that because for me every third anime was a 10. But now I understand what these people meant by saying that I would know because that's what happened at Given. I never thoughtthat an anime could ever get me so carried away, I've watched around 40 anime from different genres and read three times as much mangas/manhwas /manhuas, but until now I've never felt anything like that. The story of Mafuyu carried me away and I cried when Mafuyu sang because I was just so incredibly happy and sad at the same time, at that point I had realized that it had to be a 10/10 for me. Given is a real masterpiece, I love the music, the art, the characters, and above all the story. There is nothing to fault about this anime because it is just perfect for me.
