Review of Mission: Yozakura Family
This show takes a more supernatural and superpowered approach to the likes of something such as My hero and classic shounen. It follows a guy who marries into a spy family and then fights to uncover a conspiracy threatening him and his newfound family. It does have a sort of formulaic feel to it so if that throws you off then it won't be for you. But for people who enjoy those episodic adventures where the hero comes out on top and wraps up in a few episodes then you will enjoy this. The weakest part to the show is the main character as heisn't very interesting himself and he does follow the same formulaic pattern for overcoming everything. Another thing is the way certain conflicts resolve isn't the most interesting or feels too easy. The strongest parts of the show were the unique overarching conspiracy plot, the unique challenges that the main character gets presented with to overcome even if the main character themself isn't that interesting, and learning about the Yozakura family and watching them overcome adversity.
Overall, I would say give it a watch and if you don't like it then drop it. A good watch as a break in between other shows.
