Review of Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-

I've been enamored with this show since I saw the first episode of season 1. There are a lot of anime rom coms out there at the moment. But I think Love Is War has a unique atmosphere about it. A particular quality as well. I like the chaotic energy it has. I think its characters are all very distinct. I find the premise of the show to also be interesting. In this 3rd season "Ultra Romantic" there is no waning in this anime's content. If anything I'd say the show is getting more over-the-top than in the first 2 seasons. More characters are introducedto world of Shuchiin Academy. Other characters start coming into their own and almost threaten to make themselves the protagonist. Stakes are raised and there is a major breakthrough with the plot. The animation quality is exceptional.I was amused that there were references to all manner of non-anime things littered throughout the show. The soundtrack is as good as it has always been. In all, I can appreciate that Love Is War may not be someone's particular cup of tea. But I would say this season was one of the highlights of 2022. I look forward to how this series will progress.
