Review of Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!
Right from the 1st episode I didn't have very high expectations of the anime. It didn't feel original. Very early on our hero, Dennis, frees a slave only for the slave to work for him. The slave was a child, and hence child labor. But this is so common in fantasy anime. But then I am presented by food that Dennis cooks. The food looks good. You can almost feel that its tasty. There are dungeon raids. Its ok but I found it hard to support the raiders, same way I find it hard to support hunters hunting elephants or tigers. Of all thedungeon raid time I only found the story about a ghost girl interesting. But it was a very short mini story.
This is a an OK show. For me the highest point is the brief Ghost story. I would have liked it more if Dennis was not a top tier fighter as he was a top tier chef. He spends most of the time running the restaurant, and technically should not have enough time to train to keep in shape to be a top tier fighter.
My Rating : 6/10 (Okay)
