Review of Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow

the idea of this whole plot is kind of basic, it's definitely not for everyone and i can see how people could complain about how a lot of this is really.. surface-level but as someone who doesn't particularly go for animes that focus this much on 'power play' i really enjoyed solo-leveling. it's mindless and it got me excited in a lot of scenes - when i was on the part where sung arrived at jeju, i was basically BUZZING. so, yeah i was having fun with this whole "this guy is the strongest and he keeps getting stronger, no one can touch him likeever" thing. i joked a lot about how they should make a whole other rank for him 'S*'. this is a fun watch if you like sung, if you don't like him as a character then it'll probably be hard to root for him.
